The Department of Environment, Water and Climate Change, in cooperation with other non-governmental partners, offers and/or supports several programs for environmental stewardship. Wildlife Conservation Fund (WCF) Wildlife Conservation Fund provides funding for the protection and enhancement of wildlife and wildlife habitats. Money for the fund comes from a contribution made once a year by each licensed angler, hunter and trapper on PEI. Greening Spaces Program (GSP) Greening Spaces Program provides support to schools, communities and community groups for tree and shrub planting programs
