Terms of use
Updated October 6, 2026
Subvention.app is operated by 9564-3482 Québec inc. (NEQ 1181994576), in Quebec. By using the site, you accept these terms. They do not remove any right you have under the law of your province, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.
The service
Subvention.app helps businesses and households in Canada find the government assistance programs (grants, loans, tax credits, advisory support) they seem eligible for. Search, results and alerts are free; optional paid plans (Member, Partner) add other services. It is in alpha: features may change or be interrupted.
Assessments for information only
Eligibility assessments are produced by an artificial intelligence model from the public program pages and your answers. They may contain errors or be out of date. They replace neither a reading of the official rules nor professional advice. The body offering the assistance always decides whether to grant it. Check each program at its source before you apply.
Your account
- Provide accurate information; the assessments depend on it.
- Keep your PIN to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You can delete your answers or your profile at any time in your profile.
Acceptable use
Do not try to disrupt the service, get around its limits, access other people's data or copy the catalogue in bulk with bots. Automated access goes through the partners' MCP access, subject to its quotas.
Plans
Search, results, program pages, alerts, "Email me my list" and the newsletter stay free. Paid plans are described on the Pricing page. They require an account, except the partnership. Dev, Pro and Partner are tied to the profile chosen at checkout; Supporter applications, to your account. Payments go through Stripe. Prices are before taxes.
An application is the preparation of one program's file for one profile: documents to provide, steps, forms and the answers your profile already has. It helps you prepare a funding application; it does not submit it and does not guarantee approval. Documents you add stay private. What you contribute about a program, if it contains no personal information, may complete its file for the next people.
Supporter
A one-time payment, any amount from $12, that supports the service and adds 2 applications to your account. These applications do not expire. Your name appears on the supporters page for 12 months only if you check the box provided, before payment. This payment is not a donation: there is no tax receipt, and it is not refunded once an application has been used.
Dev and Pro
- Dev ($60 per year) gives access to the MCP server. Pro ($162 every 3 months) gives MCP access, "Prepare my application" (10 applications per quarter, not carried over to the next quarter) and the monthly opportunity report.
- They are subscriptions, renewed automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from the Billing section of My account, in the Stripe portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal: the plan stays active until the end of the paid period, which is not refunded. These rules do not remove any right the law gives a consumer.
- If a payment is declined, the plan is suspended until the next payment. When the subscription ends, MCP keys stop working.
- MCP access gives 100 calls per year per dollar paid over the year (Dev: 6,000 calls; Pro: 64,800), spread by month, with unused calls carried over.
Partners
- Partnership is for businesses and organizations. Any amount, chosen on the payment page, from $250 per year. One payment covers 12 months of partnership.
- It includes everything in Pro, plus your logo and name on the home page, ranked by amount. MCP access gives 100 calls per year per dollar paid (500,000 at most), spread by month, with unused calls carried over.
- There is no automatic renewal: we email you 30 days and then 7 days before the end. A payment made within 30 days of the end renews your partnership without interruption. Earlier, it adds calls to the current year without extending it. After the end, a payment opens a new 12-month year. Partnership is not refundable; it is a business-to-business contract.
- Partners never influence the AI's assessments or the order of the programs.
- You guarantee that you have the right to publish the name and logo provided. We may remove a misleading, illegal listing or one that goes against the service's mission.
Taxes
All plans are taxable sales: GST, QST or HST depending on your province, calculated by Stripe at checkout.
Former plans
Household Member, Business Member and donations are no longer offered since October 6, 2026. Payments made before that date keep the terms in force at the time of payment.
MCP access
MCP access (Dev, Pro and Partner) is an eligibility advisor: your AI agent creates or picks a profile on your account, answers the questions and receives at most 10 programs per assessment. Profiles created through MCP are regular profiles of your account, also visible on the website, within the same limit of 25 businesses and one household.
- If you create profiles for your clients, you guarantee that you have their consent to collect and share their information, including the explicit consent required for sensitive information, and you are responsible for it under Quebec's Law 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector). You handle their requests for access, correction and deletion; deleting a profile erases all its answers.
- You may not rebuild the program catalogue, store it in bulk or resell it, in whole or in part, from MCP results. The full record of a program is only served if an assessment returned it to your account in the last 30 days.
- Results are for information only, as on the website: the organization that runs each program alone decides eligibility. Your agents must not present them as a guarantee.
- Every tool call counts toward your quota. We may revoke a key used against these terms.
Content
Program pages summarize information published by governments and public bodies; a link to the official source comes with each one. Guides are written by an AI model from these pages, then checked by a second pass of the same model against the pages they cite, with no human review before they are published. They may contain errors; report one through the contact form and we will correct or remove the guide. The site, its code and its text belong to 9564-3482 Québec inc..
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, 9564-3482 Québec inc. is not liable for assistance that is refused, a missed deadline or a decision made based on an assessment or a guide from the site. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including toward Quebec consumers.
Newsletter
An account receives the monthly newsletter on the 1st of the month: upcoming deadlines and new programs on its list, plus the guide of the month. You can unsubscribe in one click from any newsletter or in My account. Unsubscribing does not affect your other emails (deadline reminders, grant emails).
Privacy
See our privacy policy. Using the site or the app means accepting the three cookies it describes, which are part of the service.
Governing law
The laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws govern these terms. A consumer keeps the rights and remedies granted by the law of their province. For any question, use the form.
